Mint Apple and Iced Chai

I am a major nail polish lover.  The other day Moe and I went to Target and ventured into the nail polish section.  It occurred to me: I only have reds, pinks and purples!  I need something new and summery for my nails.  At work, company policy states that we are required to only wear pinks and reds on our nails (and toes are required to match- yeah right!) but since I spend most of my time in the Marketing Admin building behind a desk, no one really minds if I get a little colorful.

I found this awesome little color by Sinful Colors: Mint Apple.  I love it! It's that classy light green that's in right now with a little bit of shimmer.  I've also fallen in love with having my ring finger have a little extra somethin somethin.  If it's on every nail, it's a bit overkill.  But on just one?  Awesome!  As an added bonus, if you use just one decal for each hand, you get more bang for your buck by making the whole pack last much longer. This silver snake skin/scale decal came from Icing.

One of the other awesome things I've found is Gelish UV Polish.  I've been putting clear on my nails to keep them stronger and it has also made my regular manicures last twice as long!  But that will be post for another day...

So I definitely used my lunch break wisely: Painted my nails and went to the wonderful Starbucks.  Look at this awesome aluminum tumbler they've got- it kept my favorite Iced Chai Latte way cooler and my ice was still frozen all afternoon.  Can't get better than that on a 102°F day!
